PowerCenter Integration Service

A PowerCenter application service that runs the Metadata Exchange processes. The processes are data integration workflows that load source metadata into the Metadata Manager warehouse. The workflows are stored in the PowerCenter repository associated with the PowerCenter Integration Service. When you create a Metadata Manager Service, you configure the associated PowerCenter Integration Service.
