Uninstalling and Deleting the Salesforce Managed Package

Uninstalling and Deleting the Salesforce Managed Package

The following steps detail the procedure to uninstall and delete the Salesforce managed package:
  1. Log in to your Salesforce developer account.
  2. Click
    Setup
    .
  3. In the
    Quick Find / Search
    box, search for
    Installed Packages
    .
  4. In the
    Installed Packages
    page, click
    Informatica Cloud Real Time for Salesforce
    .
    Before you uninstall the managed package, ensure that you delete all the artifacts that depend on the Informatica Cloud Real Time for Salesforce. For example, custom pages, buttons, page layouts, Visualforce pages.
  5. Click
    Uninstall
    at the top of the page.

    The
    Uninstalling a Package
    page appears with a list of all package components.
  6. You can choose to save the package data for 48 hours after you uninstall the package. Click
    Uninstall
    .
    The Uninstall button along with the option to save data for 48 hours.
    If you do not delete all the artifacts that depend on the Informatica Cloud Real Time for Salesforce, the uninstallation might fail.
    The uninstallation fails if you do not delete the dependent artifacts.
    Delete the dependent artifacts and uninstall the package again.
  7. After you uninstall the package, the
    Informatica Cloud Real Time for Salesforce
    package appears under
    Uninstalled Packages
    on the
    Installed Packages
    page and the status displays as
    In Progress
    .
    The image shows the uninstallation in progress.
    After the uninstallation is complete, the status displays as
    Uninstall Complete
    .
    The image shows the uninstallation is complete and the option to delete the package.
  8. To delete the managed package, click
    Del
    under
    Action
    .
    A dialog box prompts you to confirm if you want to delete the managed package. Click
    OK
    .
