Events that Trigger Hierarchy Processing

Certain operations can trigger hierarchy processing. Consider these operations to anticipate the launch of asynchronous hierarchy batch processes for large hierarchies.
The following table describes the changes that trigger processing for hierarchies:

A change to non-hierarchy fields such as the billing city, billing country, or phone do not trigger hierarchy processing unless you modify the hierarchy fields and non-hierarchy fields in the same operation.
