Viewing Records and Relationships in the Network

Viewing Records and Relationships in the Network

View records and relationships in a network by expanding or collapsing nodes, viewing active and inactive relationships, or showing or hiding relationships on the canvas.
  1. To expand a node, double-click on the node.
  2. To change the details on the canvas, in the
    Layout
    list, select a layout.
    Use one of the following values:
    • Network. Displays the relationships in a connected graph. Default is
      Network
      .
    • Hierarchy. Displays the relationships in a tree graph.
  3. To filter the business entities or relationships in the network graph, click the
    Filter
    icon, and then add filters.
  4. To filter the relationships, in the
    Active
    tab, click the
    Filter
    icon, and then add filters.
  5. To view relationships in the network for an effective date, in the
    Effective Date
    field, select a date.
  6. To hide relationships in the canvas, in the
    Active
    tab, hover over a row, click the
    More Actions
    icon, and then click
    Hide on Canvas
    .
    The relationship is hidden in the canvas, and the
    Shown on Canvas
    icon disappears in the row.
  7. To show relationships in the canvas, in the
    Active
    tab, hover over a row, click the
    More Actions
    icon, and then click
    Show on Canvas
    .
    The relationship appears in the canvas, and the
    Shown on Canvas
    icon appears in the row.
  8. To filter records shown on the canvas, in the relationship panel, click
    Add Field
    , and then select the filter. You can filter by business entity, relationship, or node visibility. You can also use up to three filters.
    The relationship panel displays the records according to the filter used.
    The filter option is available for active and inactive relationships.
