Import Copybook - Remote Datacom Details Dialog Box

Import Copybook - Remote Datacom Details Dialog Box

Enter information for the remote Datacom copybook.
Table Name (Long)
Enter the table name.
Location
Location from which to import the Datacom copybook. Options are:
  • Local
    . The copybook is located on the PowerExchange Navigator system.
  • Remote
    . The copybook is located on a remote system.
If you select
Remote
, the
Location
list includes the locations that are defined by NODE statements in the dbmover.cfg configuration file on the PowerExchange Navigator system.
UserID
For z/OS, enter an operating system user ID, which is required if security is enabled.
Password
For z/OS, enter a password for the specified user ID.
For access to a DB2 for z/OS subsystem, you can enter a valid PowerExchange passphrase instead of a password. A PowerExchange passphrase can be from 9 to 128 characters in length and can contain the following characters:
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • The numbers 0 to 9
  • Spaces
  • The following special characters:
    ’ - ; # \ , . / ! % & * ( ) _ + { } : @ | < > ?
    The first character is an apostrophe.
Passphrases cannot include single quotation marks (‘), double quotation marks (“), or currency symbols.
The allowable characters in the IBM IRRPHREX exit do not affect the allowable characters in PowerExchange passphrases.
A valid RACF passphrase can be up to 100 characters in length. PowerExchange truncates passphrases longer than 100 characters when passing them to RACF for validation.
To use passphrases, ensure that the PowerExchange Listener runs with a security setting of SECURITY=(1,N) or higher in the DBMOVER member. For more information, see "SECURITY Statement" in the
PowerExchange Reference Manual
.
Save File Locally As
Enter the path and file name on the local system where a copy of the copybook is saved, or click the Browse button to browse to a file.
Dictionary UserID
Enter the Datacom dictionary user ID.
Password
Enter a password for the user ID.
Table Status
Read-only. Specifies the value
PROD
.
Copybook
Select the this option to enable selection of one of the following copybooks types:
  • COBOL
  • PL/1
By default, the
Copybook
option is cleared, and the default copybook type is
COBOL
.
Key
Read-only. Key information is imported.
Default is selected.
Elements
Read-only. Element information is imported.
Default is selected.
