Importing an FDT into an Adabas Data Map

Importing an FDT into an Adabas Data Map

You can import an FDT into an Adabas data map if you have not previously imported an FDT into the data map.
When you import an FDT into a data map, you also import Adabas keys.
To import an FDT into an Adabas data map:
  1. Open the data map.
  2. If the PowerExchange Navigator does not prompt you to import an FDT, click
    Resource > FDT
    .
  3. In the
    Adabas FDT Import
dialog box, enter connection information for the system where the FDT is located. For more information, see Adding a Data Map.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
Edit table properties in the data map to add the imported keys to the table.
