Filter Projects

Filter Projects

You can filter the list of projects that appear in the
Object Explorer
view. You might want to filter projects if you have access to a large number of projects but need to manage only some of them.
The Developer tool retains the list of projects that you filter the next time that you connect to the repository.
You can filter projects at the following times:
Before you connect to the repository
When you filter projects before you connect to the repository, you can decrease the amount of time that the Developer tool takes to connect to the repository.
Select
File
Connect to Repository
. After you select the repository and enter your user name and password, click
Next
. The
Open Project
dialog box displays all projects to which you have access. Select the projects that you want to open in the repository and then click
Finish
.
After you connect to the repository
If you are connected to the repository, click
File
Close Projects
to filter projects out of the
Object Explorer
view. The
Close Project
dialog box displays all projects that are currently open in the
Object Explorer
view. Select the projects that you want to filter out and then click
Finish
.
To open projects that you filtered, click
File
Open Projects
.
