Task Manager

Task Manager

Use the Task Manager to organize, claim, and resolve tasks that are generated by review processes.
You can also perform task administration actions, such as assigning, releasing, or editing tasks.
To go to the Task Manager, in the navigation bar, click
Task Manager
. Alternatively, you can click the title of a task from the task inbox in the
Home
page. In this case, the Task Manager displays the selected task and the associated record.
The following image shows the Details View of the Task Manager with two tasks selected:

The following table describes the user interface elements of the Task Manager:
User Interface Element
Description
Selected list
Performs task administration action on the selected tasks. To use the
Selected
list, select the check box beside multiple tasks.
You can perform the following task administration actions:
  • Assign
  • Release
  • Edit
  • Claim
  • Task actions, such as Accept, Reject, or Disclaim
The available task administration actions depend on your selected tasks and the ActiveVOS workflows.
Custom filters
Filters the tasks based on the filters that you select. To use custom filters, click the
Filters
icon, and then add filters.
You can use any combination of the following filters:
  • Business Entity
  • Hierarchies
  • Creation Date
  • Due Date
  • Owner
  • Priority
  • Task Title
  • Task Type
View
Shows the list of tasks in the Details View or List View. To toggle the views, use the
Details View
or
List View
icons in the Task Manager toolbar.
Quick filter tabs
Shows tasks based on the predefined filter criteria for the tab.
Use one of the following filters:
  • My Assigned Tasks. Shows your open assigned tasks.
  • My Closed Tasks
    .
    Shows the tasks that you closed.
  • Available Tasks. Shows all unassigned tasks that are available to your user group.
  • All Assigned Tasks. Shows all the tasks that the users in your user group are assigned.
  • All Closed Tasks
    .
    Shows all the tasks that the users in your user group closed.
  • All Tasks. Shows all the closed, assigned, and unassigned tasks that are available to your user group.
  • Tasks Created by Me. Shows the tasks that you created.
Search
Searches the tasks for the search text.
