Configuring the Associate Sibling Lookup

Configuring the Associate Sibling Lookup

To configure the associate sibling lookup, ensure that you create a new field in the Business Object that requires to be associated with its child or sibling.
  1. As part of the creation stage, create a new field that you want to associate with its child or sibling.
For example, you want to associate
    Party
    with
    Email
    .
The following image shows how to create the
    Person_email
    in the
    Party
    business object:
The image shows the Schema Model selected under Workbench. On the Schema section under Party, the Columns option is selected. Under the Party Columns, a new field is entered for the Person_email with the nullable option selected, varchar data type, and length as 50.
  2. Set up a Foreign Key relationship in the Business Entity.
For example, establish a foreign key relationship between the
    Person_Email
    and the
    Party Electronic Address Rowid Object
on the Add Relationship dialog box.
The following image shows how to establish a foreign key relationship on the
    Relate from
    and
    Relate To
sections on the Add Relationship dialog:
The image shows the Find pane where the Party has Relationships selected. Under the Party Relationships, the Add Relationship dialog appears. Under the Relate from section, Person_Email is selected. Under the Relate to section, the Party Electronic Address appears with the Rowid Object selection.
The following diagram shows the foreign key table references that you create from
    Person_Email
    to the
    Party Electronic Address Rowid Object
on the Add Relationship dialog box:
The image shows the Properties tab. Under the Table references section, you can see the following text: Foreign Key from "Party (Person_Email)" to "Party Electronic Address (Rowid Object)" (Restrict) [Virtual].
  3. On the Provisioning tool, create a new lookup field with the new relationship.
For example, create a new lookup field under the Business Entity that has the foreign key relationship with email, which is the
    Person_Email
    business entity.
  4. Select the constraint as the new relationship configured in the MDM Hub Console before you apply the changes and publish.
For example, the Sibling or Child reference in the new field added to the Provisioning tool.
The following diagram shows the Lookup display field selected whose value displays in the associated lookup field:
The image shows the Home page. Under Modelling, the Business Entities option and the suboption called Person is selected. Under the Person, the lookup fields option is selected. Under the Lookup field, there is a new lookup field. The new lookup field has the Name and Label as PersonEmail, Sibling or child reference is selected, objects is Emails, constraint is updated, and the Lookup display field has electronic address.
