Sharing a Bookmark to the Hierarchy View

. If you want to share the
Hierarchy
 view of a record with other
Data Director
 users, you can send the users a bookmark URL. The user needs to log in to
Data Director
.
The bookmark is a fully qualified URL. You can copy the URL to any text-based communication tool, such as email, text message, instant message, or document.
  1. Open a record in the
    Hierarchy
     view.
  2. On the toolbar, click the
    Actions
    Show Bookmark
    .
  3. In the
    Bookmark URL
     window, select the entire URL, right-click, and click
    Copy
    .
  4. Click
    Close
    .
  5. Open the target text-based communication tool, and paste the URL.
