Notification categories and subcategories

Notification categories and subcategories

Each event that triggers a notification belongs to a category, such as Administration, and subcategory, such as Stakeholder Changes. You can personalize your email notification settings for each category and subcategory.

Administration

The following table describes the subcategory of the

 category:

Stakeholder Changes
Changes to the stakeholders of an asset, including removal of stakeholders and transfer of ownership

Asset Changes

The following table describes the subcategories of the

Changes to an asset or relationship

Technical Asset Changes
Changes that are made directly in the source system or to a catalog source. The changes include updates to the attributes of the asset, modifications to the asset structure, and discovery of new child assets.
You can receive notifications if you are the stakeholder of the catalog source from which the asset was imported. If a catalog source is assigned more than one stakeholder, all the stakeholders receive the notifications.
