Event Transformer Properties

Event Transformer Properties

When you create an Event Transformer responder, you enter the name and the configuration details for the responder through the RulePoint user interface.
The following table describes the configuration properties of an event transformer responder service:

Name
Name of the responder. The responder name must be unique.
Description
Optional. Description of the responder.
Type
Select
Event Transformer
.
Properties
Optional. The topic properties to copy to the event response.
To include all of the properties, use the asterisk sign. If you have configured the topic with
Named Properties
, then the properties referenced in the
WITH
portion of the rule are copied.
Parameters
Optional. A comma-delimited list of name-value pairs provided in the response.
For example,
symbol=XYZ, price=10
It is referenced in a rule as
params
.
Topic
The topic on which the event transformer creates an event.
Marshaller Class Name
Class name of the marshaller.
Marshaller Properties
Key-value pairs to pass as properties of the marshaller.
