Defining Amazon Redshift Targets

Defining Amazon Redshift Targets

You can configure Fast Clone to unload source data to Amazon Redshift targets. Fast Clone does not generate a load script for the target load utility. A load script is not needed because Fast Clone connects to and writes source data to the Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3).
  1. On the
    Target DB
    tab, select
    AMAZON REDSHIFT
    in the
    Database Type
    list.
  2. Enter the host, port number, database, user ID, and password to use for connecting to the Amazon Redshift database.
  3. On the
    Runtime Settings
    tab >
    Amazon S3 Load Settings
view, enter Amazon S3 information in the following fields:
    • S3 file size (KB)
    • S3 bucket name
    • S3 key ID
    • S3 path
    • S3 secret key
You must complete all of these fields.
