Running a Cycle or Transaction Restore Job

Running a Cycle or Transaction Restore Job

Once schemas are synchronized, you can run a cycle or transaction restore from the Data Vault.
Verify that a target connection exists and that you have access to the connection.
  1. Click
    Workbench > Restore File Archive
    .
  2. Select the
    Cycle Restore
    or
    Transaction Restore
    tab.
    • To restore an archive cycle, select the cycle ID.
    • To restore a transaction, enter the entity name and selection criteria.
  3. Click
    Next.
    The
    Manage Restore Steps
    page appears.
  4. Select the actions you want the restore job to complete after each step in the restore process.
    To prevent the restore job from deleting the restored data in the Data Vault, enable the
    Skip
    check box for the
    Delete from Archive
    step.
  5. Click
    Schedule
    to schedule the job.
  6. Monitor the restore job from the
    Jobs >
    Monitor Jobs
    page.
