Step 5. Archive or Retire External Attachments

To archive or retire the attachments synchronously, run the archive job and then load the external attachments to the Data Vault. To archive the attachments asynchronously, run the archive or retirement job and then move the attachments to the interim attachment table before you archive or retire them.
