Using Data Privacy Export and Purge

Using Data Privacy Export and Purge

After you verify that the table indexes are up-to-date and identify a record or records with Data Privacy search, you can both export and then purge the records from Data Vault. Records that are on legal hold will not be exported or purged.
  1. After you have searched for the records that you want to export and purge, click the
    Export and Purge
    button next to the
    Search Subject
    text box.
    The
    Export and Purge
    pop-up window appears.
  2. Select either CSV or XML for the file format that you want to export.
  3. In the text box, enter a reason for the export and purge.
  4. Click
    Schedule Now
    to schedule the export job to run immediately, or click
    Add to Batch
    to schedule the export and purge job at a later time with other Data Privacy jobs.
Depending on whether you scheduled the job to run immediately or added the job to a batch, complete one of the following tasks.
