Configure parameters in test suite file

Configure parameters in test suite file

The test suite file includes all the test cases. To generate the test case with the required values, you must edit the
testsuite
file to replace the placeholder values with the required values, or you can specify the required values in the
input.properties
file.
Test case example
You can perform one of the following tasks:
  • Update the parameterized value for the object name in the test suite file.
    Test case example
  • You can give the value of the object name through the
    input.properties
    file.
The format of the value depends on the table name. If you choose the schema/folder and then select the object, specify the values in the following:
    <schema/folder>/tablename
    .
    See the following example where
    public
    is the schema and
    employee
    is the table name:
    Test case example
The
attribute.xml
file comprises all the capability parameter properties such as connection, read, write, and call. You can add new attributes or edit existing attributes using the
attribute.xml
files.
