Step 2. Configuring Remote Site Settings

After you publish the parent processes in Informatica Cloud Real Time, you must register the service URL. To register the Service URL, configure the Salesforce remote site settings.
  1. Based on the Salesforce environment that you use, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In Salesforce Classic, perform the following tasks:
      1. In the upper-right corner of the page, select your name, and click
        Setup
        .
      2. Under
        Administration Setup
        , click
        Security Controls
        Remote Site Settings
        .
    • In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
      1. Click the quick access menu ( The image shows the quick access menu. 
						), and then click
        Setup Home
        .
        The
        Setup Home
        page appears.
      2. Under
        SETTINGS
        , click
        Security
        Remote Site Settings
        .
    The
    All Remote Site
    page appears.
  2. Click
    New Remote Site
    .
    The
    Remote Site Edit
    page appears.
  3. Enter a name for the remote site.
  4. Perform one of the following tasks based on how you deploy MDM Multidomain Edition:
    • If the MDM Multidomain Edition is deployed on AWS, enter the cloud server as the remote site URL.
      For example, enter
      https://mdm-nonprod.com/
      as the URL.
    • If the MDM Multidomain Edition is deployed locally, enter the service URL that you published in Informatica Cloud Real Time as the remote site URL.
      For example, enter
      https://ps1w2.rt.informaticacloud.com/
      as the URL.
  5. To allow access to the remote site regardless of whether the user's connection is over HTTP or HTTPS, select
    Disable Protocol Security
    .
    Select the option only if you understand the security implications.
  6. Optionally, enter a description of the site.
  7. Click
    Save
    .
