Step 5. Create a Segment Setting for the Custom Object

The segment settings define custom segment structures for the custom object class.
  1. Based on the Salesforce environment that you use, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In Salesforce Classic, from the
      Setup
      section of the
      CC360 Admin
      tab, click
      Run the Setup Wizard
      .
    • In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
      1. On the navigation menu, click
        CC360 Admin
        .
        The
        Manage CC360
        page appears.
      2. From the
        Setup
        section, click
        Run the Setup Wizard
        .
  2. Under
    Setup
    , click
    Advanced
    .
    The
    Advanced
    section appears.
  3. Under
    Advanced
    , click
    Segments
    .
    The
    Custom Setting Segment Settings
    appears.
  4. Click
    New
    .
  5. In the
    Segment Settings Information
    section, configure the following settings:
    Name
    Name of the object class that you created for the custom object.
    Component Fields 1 through 5
    API names of the bean fields to use to generate the segment.
    Component Length 1 through 5
    Nnumber of characters to use from the API names of beans that you specify in the component fields.
  6. Click
    Save
