Starting a Tool in the Workbenches View

Starting a Tool in the Workbenches View

Start the
Hub Console
from the
Workbenches
view.
  1. In the
    Workbenches
view, expand the workbench that contains the tool that you want to start.
  2. If necessary, expand the workbench node to show the tools associated with that workbench.
  3. Click the tool.
If you selected a tool that requires a different database, the
    Hub Console
    prompts you to select it.
All tools in the Configuration workbench, Databases, Users, Security Providers, Tool Access, Message Queues,
    Repository Manager
, Enterprise Manager, and Workflow Manager require a connection to the
    MDM Hub Master Database
. All other tools require a connection to an
    Operational Reference Store
    .
    The
    Hub Console
displays the tool that you selected.
