Sequence of Validation Rules

Sequence of Validation Rules

The MDM Hub runs the validation rules in the sequence in which you specify them.
If you configure multiple validation rules for a column, the MDM Hub runs the validation rules in the sequence that you configure. Also, the MDM Hub considers the downgrade percentage of each validation rule. Downgrade percentages are not cumulative. The validation rule with the highest downgrade percentage overwrites other changes.
If multiple validation rules have the same highest downgrade percentage, the MDM Hub checks the reserve minimum trust setting. If the reserve minimum trust setting is enabled for all the validation rules, the MDM Hub applies the first validation rule with the highest downgrade percentage.
