Group of classes, relationships, and attributes that define the metadata that Metadata Manager can extract from a metadata source. Metadata Manager packages models for supported metadata sources. In addition to the packaged models, you can create universal models to define metadata sources for some business intelligence, data integration, data modeling, and database management metadata sources for which Metadata Manager does not package a model. You can also create custom models to define custom metadata.
