ERwin

ERwin is a tool that you use to create and maintain logical or physical data models of relational databases. In Metadata Manager, you can create and configure an ERwin resource to extract and represent metadata from data models in ERwin.

Metadata Manager can extract ERwin metadata through the following sources:

Source repository: Metadata Manager connects to the ERwin Data Modeler repository to extract metadata.
Source file: Metadata Manager extracts ERwin metadata from a metadata file that was previously exported from ERwin.
