Relationship Description

ERwin stores relationship definitions as notes in an XML file. Metadata Manager extracts these definitions and loads them as a description element property ERwinElementDescription, not as the description class attribute InfaDescription.

To retrieve a relationship description:

In the Catalog view on the Browse page, click a relationship instance for an ERwin resource.

In the Details section, click the Relationships tab.

If the full description does not appear in the Relationships tab, click the link in the Name column corresponding to the object in the ERwinElementDescription class to display the full description of the relationship.
