The following table describes the supported Hive data types when the target is Hive or HDFS:

  • Array
  • Char
  • Date
  • Maps
  • Struct
  • Timestamp
  • Varchar
When the source is a Hive connection, you cannot use a Hadoop HDFS target connection.
