Disabling and Enabling Relationships in an Entity

Disabling and Enabling Relationships in an Entity

You can enable or disable relationships in an entity from the Entity Map view or the Relationships view.
  1. In Test Data Manager, open a project.
  2. Navigate to the
    Define | Data Subset
    view.
  3. Click the entity to open the
    Entity Map
    view.
  4. You can edit a relationship in the
    Entity Map
    view or the
    Relationships
    view.
    • To edit a relationship in the
      Entity Map
      view:
      1. Choose to view all relationships and to show excluded tables. An enabled relationship appears as a solid line and a disabled relationship appears as a dotted line.
      2. Click the link between the parent and child icons in the map to select the link. Test Data Manager highlights the link.
      3. Click
        Disable Relationship
        to disable the relationship or
        Enable Relationship
        to enable the relationship.
    • To edit a relationship in the Relationships view:
      1. Click the
        Relationships
        view.
      2. Click
        Disable Relationship
        or
        Enable Relationship
        . The status changes to disabled or enabled.
