Configuring the Performance Settings

Configuring the Performance Settings

The performance settings optimize the performance of data processing for
Customer 360 for Salesforce
. Use the setup wizard to configure the performance settings.
  1. Based on the Salesforce environment that you use, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In Salesforce Classic, perform the following tasks:
      1. In the upper-right corner of the page, select your name, and click
        Setup
        .
      2. Under
        App Setup
        , click
        Develop
        Custom Settings
        .
    • In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
      1. Click the quick access menu ( The image shows the quick access menu. 
						), and then click
        Setup
        .
        The
        Setup Home
        page appears.
      2. Under
        PLATFORM TOOLS
        , click
        Custom Code
        Custom Settings
        .
    The
    Custom Settings
    page appears.
  2. Select
    Manage
    for
    Performance Settings
    .
    The
    Custom Setting Performance Settings
    page appears.
  3. To create a Performance Settings, click
    New
    .
    The
    Performance Settings Edit
    page appears.
  4. Configure the following settings:
    Name
    Name of the performance job. Do not change the default value. Default is DuplicateCheck.
    Batch Acceleration Level
    Optional. Determines the inclusiveness of the exact match on the matching segment. You can increase the batch acceleration level to increase fuzzy matching performance. The acceleration level must be equal to the number of digits in the record count of the batch. For example, if the batch record count is 100,000, the acceleration level is 6. Default is 3.
    Batch Size
    Size of the batch that is processed. Default is 10.
    Concurrent Jobs
    Optional. Specifies the number of batch apex jobs that can be processed in parallel.
    Customer 360 for Salesforce
    can process up to 5 concurrent jobs. To reduce processing time, increase the number of concurrent jobs. Default is 1.
    Fuzzy Limit
    Optional. The limit for fuzzy comparisons. Default is 200.
    Job Priority
    Optional. Determines the priority that a job is assigned when
    Customer 360 for Salesforce
    runs in automatic mode. Highest priority is 1. If set to 0, the job is skipped. Default is 1.
    Limits Threshold
    The threshold limit for the batch job. Default is 90.
    Loop
    Optional. Enables
    Customer 360 for Salesforce
    to repeat a job until all records are checked. Default is enabled.
    Query Limit
    The query limit for the batch job. Default is 1000.
    Run Automatic
    Optional. Schedules jobs to run whenever a user adds or modifies a record. Default is disabled.
    Search Acceleration Level
    Optional. Determines the acceleration level of a fuzzy search. The higher the value, the faster the fuzzy logic. Increase the acceleration to achieve faster search results. Default is 3.
    Higher acceleration levels may reduce the number of results returned.
    Segment Limit
    Optional. The segmentation limit for the batch job. Default is 20.
