Generate First Level Output Groups

Generate First Level Output Groups

The Developer tool generates the Normalizer transformation first-level output group by default. The Developer tool generates additional output groups when you define more than one multiple-occurring field in the Normalizer view.
The Developer tool creates an output group that contains all level 1 single-occurring fields and the first level 1 multiple-occurring field. The Developer tool creates an additional output group when the transformation contains more than one multiple-occurring field.
The Developer tool does not create an output group for level 1 records. When you define a level 1 record, you must configure where you to put them in the output.
To stop the Developer tool from creating output groups for multiple-occurring fields, disable the
Automatically Generate First-Level Output Groups
 advanced property.
