task, you can use inplace masking to mask the data in the same system from which the

masking

task reads the data. When you choose inplace masking, you can perform an Update operation in the target, but you cannot perform an Insert or an Upsert operation. You can apply data filters to a single source object when you select a Salesforce connection.

task, the task does not create a custom field or an external ID for relationship reconciliation.
