Mapping task configuration

Mapping task configuration

Complete the following steps to create a
mapping
 task:
  1. Create the mapping task.
  2. Configure the source.
  3. Configure the target.
  4. Optionally, configure CDC runtime properties.
  5. Define input parameters.
  6. Optionally, define persistent values.
  7. Optionally, configure runtime options.
  8. Optionally, configure the runtime strategy.
As you configure the task, you can click
Save
 to save your work at any time.
If your organization has the Visio Templates license, you use a different user interface to create
mapping
 tasks that are based on mappings and Visio templates. For more information, see Mapping task configuration with Visio templates.
