task for a flat file target, Data Integration performs a full load each time you run the task. When you run the task for the first time, the

replication

task creates the flat files. The

replication

task then stores the files in the specified directory and writes the replicated data to the files. During subsequent runs, the

replication

task truncates the file and loads the data.
