Exporting a masking task

Exporting a
masking
task

You can export a
masking
task. You can import the task into a different environment or use the information in an exported masking task to analyze errors.
If you export a
masking
task created before the April 2022 release, the exported task might not include the dictionary and storage connection information. When you import the task, the fields appear blank. To avoid the issue when you import the
masking
task into an environment with the April 2022 release or later, open and save the task before you export the task. The exported task then includes the dictionary and storage connection information and the fields appear in the imported task. The connections also appear on the
Uses
tab of the
Show Dependencies
