Rules and guidelines for configuring
replication
 tasks

Consider the following rules and guidelines when you configure a
replication
 task:
  • The names of source tables and fields can use a maximum of 55 characters.
  • Multiple
    replication
     tasks cannot write to the same database table or flat file.
  • You cannot configure a
    replication
     task when the source and target object are the same. If the source and target connections are the same, enter a target prefix to distinguish the source and target objects.
