Configuring default parameters

Configuring default parameters

The
Parameters
 page lists the parameters in the mapping. Configure the default values and settings for each parameter on the
Parameters
 page or configure local parameter values and settings when you configure the job.
Some parameter values depend on other parameters. For example, if a mapping contains a target connection and a target object parameter, you must configure the target connection parameter value before you configure the target object parameter value. Configure parameter values from the top down.
  1. Click the row that contains the parameter. Select default scope.
  2. For parameters with default scope, select or enter the value of the parameter.
    You can also override this value on the
    Jobs
     tab.
  3. Click
    Settings
     to configure advanced attributes, formatting options, or field metadata.
    The available options change based on the parameter you're configuring.
  4. Click
    Next
