Creating a Hierarchy Type

Creating a Hierarchy Type

To create a hierarchy type in
Customer 360 for Salesforce
, change the hierarchy type of the root node to the name of the hierarchy type you want to create.
  1. In the hierarchy view, click the root node.

  2. From the Bean section on the
    Account
    page, click
    Edit
    .

  3. In the Hierarchy Informatica section on the
    Bean Edit
    page, enter the name of the hierarchy type you want to create in the
    Hierarchy Type
    field.

    2. Ultimate Parent indicator
  4. Click
    Save
    .
    The root record and all the children in the hierarchy belong to the hierarchy type that you created.
    If you change the hierarchy type of a record that is not an ultimate parent,
    Customer 360 for Salesforce
    reverts the hierarchy type change.
