Creating an Account Hierarchy During Initial Data Load

To create a hierarchy during the initial data load, assign the appropriate parent account value. You must start with the root node and then load the hierarchy one level at time.
Customer 360 for Salesforce
uses the parent account value to maintain the structure of a hierarchy. You can populate these values to build your hierarchy when you use an external tool such as Informatica Cloud Services to initially load the data into
Customer 360 for Salesforce
. If you create the hierarchy during the initial data load, start with the top hierarchy level and then load one hierarchy level at a time. Load one hierarchy level at a time until you reach the bottom hierarchy level.
Customer 360 for Salesforce
determines and then populates the appropriate ultimate parent value and hierarchy value.
