Add Staging Tables

Add Staging Tables

Add a staging table to which you want to move data from a landing table.
  1. In the
    Hub Console
    , start the Schema tool.
  2. Acquire a write lock.
  3. In the navigation tree, expand the node of the base object that you want to add a staging table to.
  4. Right-click the Staging Tables node.
    The
    Add Staging Table
    option appears.

  5. Click
    Add Staging Table
    .

    Add Staging to Base Object
    dialog box appears.
  6. Specify the staging table properties.

  7. From the list of the columns in the base object, select the columns that the source system provides.
    You can click
    Select all columns
    to select all the base object columns.
  8. Specify column properties.
  9. Click
    OK
    .
    The Schema tool creates the staging table in the
    Operational Reference Store
    along with any support tables, and then adds the staging table to the navigation tree.
