Configuring NLS_LANG in the Windows Registry

Configuring NLS_LANG in the Windows Registry

On Windows systems, ensure that you have set an NLS_LANG registry subkey for each Oracle Home.
You can modify this subkey through the Windows Registry Editor.
  1. From a command prompt, type
    regedit
    , and then click
    OK
    .
  2. Navigate to the following registry entry:
    For Oracle 10g:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\KEY_<Oracle_Home_name>
  3. Edit the
    NLS_LANG
    subkey.
