Removing Staging Tables

Removing Staging Tables

To remove a staging table:
  1. Start the Schema Manager.
  2. Acquire a write lock.
  3. In the schema tree, expand the
    Base Objects
    node, and then expand the node for the base object associated with this staging table.
  4. Right-click the staging table that you want to remove, and then choose
    Remove
    .
    The Schema Manager prompts you to confirm deletion.
  5. Choose
    Yes
    .
    The Schema Manager drops the staging table from the
    Operational Reference Store
    (
    Operational Reference Store
    ), deletes associated control tables, and removes the deleted staging table from the schema tree.
