Metadata Manager Login Overview

Metadata Manager Login Overview

Log in to Metadata Manager through your web browser. You must have a user account to log in to Metadata Manager.
If the domain does not use Kerberos authentication, the Informatica Service Manager creates a cookie that it uses to authenticate your user name in Metadata Manager. The Service Manager deletes the cookie after 12 hours or when you log out of Metadata Manager. You can change the cookie timeout value.
Session timeout is the duration of inactivity after which the session information is destroyed. By default, the session timeout is 30 minutes. You can change the session timeout for Tomcat by updating the session-timeout element in the following file:
<INFA HOME>\tomcat\temp\<Metadata Manager Service name>\conf\web.xml
You can change your password after you log in.
