Updating a Universal XConnect

To update a universal XConnect, regenerate the plug-in, copy it to the plug-ins directory, and recycle the Metadata Manager Service. Metadata Manager detects changes to the plug-in. If the plug-in has changed, Metadata Manager reloads the plug-in when the Metadata Manager Service is enabled.

After you update a universal XConnect, open the Metadata Manager web application and verify the model changes.
