expiration date

expiration date

The date at which a record is eligible for deletion. The expiration date equals the retention period plus a date that is determined by the retention policy rules. The Purge Expired Records job uses this date to determine which records to delete from the Data Vault. A record expires on its expiration date at 12:00:00 a.m. The time is local to the machine that hosts the Data Vault Service. A record with an indefinite retention period does not have an expiration date.
