Program Access Policy

Program Access Policy

You can create an access policy for a program. Program access policies help optimize program performance.
Create an access policy for a program based on the function of the program, such as running reports. For example, you might create a program access policy for a transaction processor that needs to access current data. You could limit access for the transaction processor to one quarter of data. You might also create an access policy for a receivables aging reporting tool that needs to view historical data. You configure the policy to allow the receivables aging reporting tool access to three years of historical data.
