Step 5. Create a Hierarchy Type

Create a hierarchy type to associate the entity types, relationship types, and profiles with a hierarchy. You must create a hierarchy type before you create relationship types.
  1. Acquire a write lock.
  2. In the Model workbench, click
    Hierarchies
    .
  3. Select
    Hierarchies
    Add Hierarchy
    .
  4. Enter the following Hierarchy properties:
    Code
    Unique code name of the hierarchy. Type
    Product
    .
    Display Name
    Name of the hierarchy as it appears in the Hub Console. Type
    Product
    .
    Description
    Optional.

    Save
