Deleting Path Components

You can delete path components but not
the root base object. To delete a path component:

In the Schema Manager, navigate to the

Paths

tab.

Acquire a write lock.

In the Path Components tree, select the path component that you want to delete.

In the Path Components section, click the

Delete

button.

The Schema Manager prompts you to confirm deletion.

Click Yes
.

Click the

Save

button to save your changes.
