Search Configuration with Solr Architecture

Search Configuration with Solr Architecture

Search uses the Process Servers to perform searches. A Process Server is a servlet that cleanses data, processes batch jobs, and searches business entities. Based on your MDM Hub environment, configure the Process Server for search.
If you install all the MDM Hub components on a single host machine, configure the Process Server to function as the ZooKeeper server and enable search on the Process Server. When you enable search on a Process Server, the Process Server functions as a Solr server.
If you install the MDM Hub components on multiple host machines, configure a Process Server to function as the ZooKeeper and Solr servers. You can then configure other Process Servers to function as the Solr servers based on your requirement.
