Configuring Fast Clone Server Tasks

In a distributed Fast Clone environment, you can configure a Fast Clone Server to accept output files from another Fast Clone system or to run unload jobs that are initiated on a standalone Fast Clone Console system.
  1. Click the
    Runtime Settings
    >
    Remote Server
    view.
    The following image shows this view:
  2. To configure a Fast Clone Server on a target system to accept output files from another Fast Clone system, complete the following steps:
    1. Ensure that the Fast Clone Server is running on the target system.
    2. Select the
      Send output to remote Informatica Fast Clone Server
      option.
    3. In the adjacent text box, enter the host name or IP address of the Fast Clone Server system followed by the port number. Use the format

  3. To configure a Fast Clone Server on the source system to accept unload requests from a remote Fast Clone Console system and run unload jobs on the source system, complete the following steps:
    1. Ensure that the Fast Clone Server is running on the source system.
    2. Enter connection information for the Fast Clone Server system in the
      Initiate unload on remote Fast Clone Server
      field. Enter the host name or IP address followed by the port number. Use the format
