Enabling Remote Configuration Management

To open and save configuration files on a remote system from the Fast Clone Console, you must run an FTP server on the remote system and enable remote configuration management.
  1. Ensure that a FTP server is running on the remote system where you want to store the configuration files.
  2. On the
    Source DB
     tab >
    Source Database
     view of the Fast Clone Console, select the
    Remote configuration management
     option.
    A confirmation dialog box appears.
  3. Click
    OK
    .
    On the menu bar, the
    File
    Open Remotely
     and
    File
    Save Remotely
     commands become available.
