data files

data files

Files to which Fast Clone writes the unloaded source data. Fast Clone generates the data files in the output directory when you run unload jobs that write data to files. You can customize the format of the data files, specify row and column separators to use in the files, and an enclosure character for record fields. By default, Fast Clone names data files by using the source table or table partition name with the .dat extension. If you configured Fast Clone to unload LOB data to separate files, Fast Clone also generates separate data files for storing LOB data. Fast Clone names these data files based on the record identifier for the record that contains the LOB data.
