Enabling or Creating Target Constraints

Enabling or Creating Target Constraints

If you previously disabled or dropped target constraints to avoid constraint violation errors, you can re-enable or re-create the constraints after loading data to the target database.
From the Fast Clone Console, generate a script for enabling or creating target constraints.
  1. Connect to the source database and target database.
  2. On the
    Target DB
tab, ensure that you selected target schema or owner.
  3. Click
    Schema
    Enable Constraints
on the menu bar, or click the
Enable all constraints on all selected tables on destination
    button on the toolbar.
    The
    View Script
dialog box appears and displays the generated script.
  4. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Click
      Run
      to run the script immediately.
    • Click
      Save
to save the generated script to a directory of your choice. You can run the script on the target system later to re-enable or re-create the constraints.
